Eurosite Annual Conference 2009: 'Participatory Conservation: A Stakeholder Approach'

Eurosite and Generalitat de Valencia, with the collaboration of Fundacio Caixa Catalunya, are delighted to invite you to the Eurosite Annual Conference 2009, which will take place from 25th to  ­ 29th May in Peñíscola, Spain.

The provisional conference programme includes the following:

1. Excursions to Sierra de Irta and Ebro delta (one of the most important wetland sites in the Mediterranean);
2. A one-day Seminar to explore and discuss 'Participatory Conservation - A Stakeholder Approach', a rich topic, highly relevant to site managing organisations across Europe. 
3. Working Groups to discuss issues such as Branding and Quality Standards, Wetland Restoration, Adaptive Management, Marine Conservation and many other issues relevant to site managers;
4. Eurosite Business day to develop and plan the upcoming Eurosite agenda.
